The salvaged industrial metal doors and windows gave the new space the perfect nod to the home original Tudor architecture. Inspired by Candis’ timelessly sense of style, gamble + design opened up and modernized the kitchen by leaving out upper cabinets, adding countertops in a honed marble, and coming up with a custom-patterned wall tiles which integrated the pattern of the sconce lighting, and wide-planked dark-stained flooring in a chevron pattern. Last but not least, Candis’ kitchen was equipped with custom pull-out dog bowls for functionality.
With Candis’ own glamorous and original taste infused with Jeni’s expertise and eye-for-restraint design, the process lead to a space not just livable but lovable.
