Dolores Park

San Francisco, California

It is finally time to share what we have been up to with our own home. We completed Phase One of our SF home near Dolores Park a couple years ago. We bought this fixer upper with eyes wide open and were excited to take on what our real estate agent said was a "big, hairy mess". Perfect, that's what we do!

The first thing we did, before putting an offer in, was find the access panel to the dropped ceiling and see what the original ceiling heights are. As we suspected, they were true to a 1903 Edwardian home...high! We started with the back of the home where the Kitchen and Dining Room are. We added a Bathroom where the old Laundry was. And, of course, raised the ceilings.

This house will be an on-going project as we are now in the process of planning the Living Room and internal Stair to upstairs. We will share more of that later. Phasing a project is always an option for your dream home too!
