As busy working parents of four children, these clients’ number one priority was to make their home as livable and resilient as possible. Coming in at a close second place was to have their home reflect their taste - warm, modern, and unexpected. Custom-designed pieces were necessary to meet these such as the dining room table, built-in media bench, and rugs. The heavily used kitchen was renovated and modernized with hardwearing finishes, while adding fun accents like the red-orange interior shelves and sliding ladder. Art, curated by gamble + design was an important aspect of the design, as was keeping the original character of the home. The result is a highly durable space that will suit this family’s evolving needs for years to come.
