Relaxed elegance in Pacific Heights
San Francisco, California
A San Francisco Victorian located in Pacific Heights was in need of some updated interiors. The couple wanted a calm relaxing feeling that flowed from one part of the home to the other. With the use of cool colors, warm lighting, and clean window treatments the home feels down to earth and fresh. Areas of work included finishes and fixtures for living room, dining area, kitchen, guest bedrooms, nursery, master bedroom, stairways, guest bathrooms and master bathroom. Their daughter was born just in time to see their new home renovation complete. We quickly had the exciting task of creating a nursery. Service included tile finish selections, hardware for doors and cabinets, decorative light fixture. Interior and exterior color selections, window treatments, and furniture. and art master plans. For the master bathroom the majority of the plumbing and electrical locations were kept in place. A few space plans were provided so the client could start to visualize the options. In the end the symmetry of the given architecture was augmented with the layout by creating a symmetrical vanity and centering the tub on the peak access. Marble tiles and high polished fixtures were chosen to help bring home the elegance. Functional details such outlets behind the mirror were incorporated to hide the typical unsightly electric toothbrushes and electric shavers.
